Hiring illegals for Border Agency shows staggering ineptitude

Commenting on the news that the UK Border Agency has employed an illegal worker, Liberal Democrat Shadow Home Secretary, Chris Huhne said:

"You could not make up circumstances of such staggering ineptitude, so it is no surprise that this news is leaking out as Parliament breaks up and cannot hold ministerial feet to the fire.

"It is hard to believe ministers' crowing about their crackdowns on illegal workers when their flagship agency is employing them."
